HE WAS AS CONFUSED as a certain hotel desk clerk was, late one night. A drunken guest staggered up to the desk and demanded that his room be changed. "But Room 505 is one of the best we have, sir," explained the clerk. "It's just been redecorated. However, if you insist, we'll move you to 508. But would you mind telling me what's wrong with the room you're in?"
