THAT BRINGS TO MIND the anecdote from D. S. of Missouri about an AA speaker who fought his way through a blizzard to find only one member at the meeting place. The visitor wanted to cancel, but the member, an old farmer, said, "If I went out to feed my cattle and only one showed up, I'd go ahead and feed it."
