ALL OF A sudden, I have become an elderly person. It seemed to come on very quickly, and I don't feel my seventy years. I flatter myself that I don't look it, either. But I guess I must, because people offer to carry things for me and treat me with a great deal of deference. Also, it's hard to get going in the morning until I work the stiffness out of my legs and back.
