Where friendliness starts
Too frequently, I notice in meetings all over the country--not just here in California--that when. the meeting ends, the regular members are so anxious to chat with each other that the newcomer is left. Standing alone and ignored. Not deliberately. Just thoughtlessly. Fortunately, this did not happen to me when I was new to AA.
