Not Good Enough
He needed a sponsor, and his fellow AAs seemed either too good or
FROM THE VERY first meetings I attended, sore at the world and bankrupt in all departments, the word "sponsor" managed to find its way into my confused mind. Someone kept saying, "Stick with the winners." I didn't, and I got drunk. From today's sober vantage point, I can see that communication with another person was sadly lacking.
