There are many of us who are both alcoholic and homosexual. Several years of sobriety in AA have not changed my sexual preference, but now I can live with it satisfactorily. Let me ask of my AA friends that you not be condescending or make poor jokes about gays. AA does not want to drive anybody away who honestly wants to stop drinking.
