Today's Twenty-four Hours Can Start Right Now

THAT LONG winter, I couldn't wait till 11:00 AM. It was my self-imposed martini deadline. It had been a noon deadline, but my boy Michael's class schedule was moved up, so he came home for lunch at eleven-fifteen instead of noon. If lunch could be moved up an hour, so could drinking, I reasoned.
