Changing Attitudes

In their search for spiritual awareness, AAs take many routes. Six of them share the rewards of their travels with us

I BEGAN HAVING "spiritual experiences" as soon as I came to AA (almost ten years ago). At least, I called them "spiritual experiences" then. Today, I would call them enthusiastic interpretations of outside events, interpretations that were a result of my eagerness, after many years of alcoholically induced agnosticism, to have conscious contact with the God of my understanding.
