A week to remember
My great expectations did not materialize this week. There were too many, and they were too big. I forgot not to expect anything if I am to appreciate what I do receive. I forgot that I was not the only person alive and living in AA. I forgot that other people have busy lives, that they get busy because they're working the program, and that they have more to look forward to in life than just holding my hand.
