An 'EDI' situation
Since joining (or rejoining) AA, I have found it best to go by the words of "the survivors"--those who have some degree of sobriety. This always works. One friend (or sponsor) filled me with the slogans. Since then, in a tight situation, I have often had to pull one out of my invisible suitcase of reserves.
