Invisible Changes

What could have been a disastrous argument with my husband was averted because of a few things I've learned on this wonderful AA program. One is that there doesn't have to be an "I'm right, you're wrong" solution to every disagreement. The main purpose is to listen to how the other person feels. So, when my husband blurted out that he didn't feel I had changed (after fourteen years on the program), my immediate reaction was rage. That hasn't changed!
