People in AA think of the nicest things to do. I was unable to attend meetings for most of last summer and fall, because I broke my hip. One of our men got the inspiration to tape meetings for me. He taped not only the monthly speaker meetings, but also the open discussion meetings, where most members said a few words to me and then talked about the evening's topic. It was great to hear all the familiar voices, plus a few new ones.
