A GREAT MANY years of my life were spent working in factories. On the last day of work before Christmas, it was traditional to indulge in some Christmas "cheer" and live it up. Before the afternoon was over, the boys would be chasing the girls, and everyone would be doing everything but work. (Incidentally, I have it on the authority of one of the greatest geniuses ever pried off a barstool that "chasing girls is not a character defect unless you catch them.")
