Year of Surrender--1972 BG (Before Gratitude)
MY GREATEST struggle with the incurable disease of alcoholism came after I reached AA. I was an unwilling learner. First came the troublesome years, up until 1972 BG (Before Gratitude). Second came the years of continuous, contented sobriety, 1973-80 AG (After Gratitude).
