ALL MY LIFE, I have been wary of con jobs. I myself was a master at dishonesty, having been a motion picture press agent for forty years before I retired; untruths, deceits, phoniness, and misleading images were my specialties. So I was sure there must be some con action going in AA, too. And I was right--sort of.
