Letting Go of Fears

ABOUT TEN years ago, with a party of twenty AA and Al-Anon members, I flew from San Francisco to a rally in Victoria, B.C. Although I had traveled by plane before, "white-knuckled" is an apt description of how I made journeys by air. Fear, stress, tension, anxiety, nervousness, sweaty palms. I have a fear of heights, have been known to panic at starting down a ladder from the second floor of a building under construction.
