I would like to share an experience I had on my cruise to Alaska. Before leaving, I wrote to the intergroup office in Anchorage telling them of my trip. I received a letter from them stating they would be most anxious to meet me when my ship arrived in port. When I arrived in Anchorage early in the morning, my new friends finally found me, and the welcome mat was out. Needless to say, I had a fabulous AA day. I'll never forget their hospitality and kindness. In fact, I still keep in touch with them.
