The turning point
I made it in spite of myself. When it came to sobriety, I was my own worst enemy. I believe I tried about every way there is to go to AA and not stay sober. My first five years, I was in and out so much, I didn't know if I was just coming in or just leaving. In fact, people got to calling me Yo-Yo.
