A NEWCOMER to our noontime men's discussion group proclaimed, "I'm lucky I'm an alcoholic. I'm lucky I don't have cancer or heart trouble. I'm lucky I didn't kill somebody when I drove while I was drinking, which was most of the time. I'm just a grateful, nonpracticing drunk."
