During my sobriety, I have heard many remarks and discussions concerning the proper method of staying sober. I have managed through trial and error to develop a program that works for me: "Don't drink. Go to meetings. Read the Big Book. Consult my sponsor. Use the telephone. And try to carry the AA message."
