Just another illness?
The article "Old Myths Die Hard" in the June Grapevine is very misleading, in this alcoholic's opinion. It imposes too narrow a view of our illness. The Big Book, the "Twelve and Twelve," and the experience of most recovering alcoholics I have known on the program testify to the triple nature of our condition--physical, emotional, and spiritual.
