On guard against anger

The longer I am sober in the program, the more I realize that anger does not need to have a place in my life as it once did. Anger is ego gone awry--someone or something isn't acting or reacting as I would like. The serenity I am gaining is much too important and fragile to let such a negative emotion interfere. I am truly grateful to be a part of a program and people that nurture the positive rather than the negative.
