Something Was Radically Wrong

I DRANK for a quarter of a century. Now, I don't have to drink anymore. Before, I kept falling down. Since I could not take care of myself, people would pick me up and place me in some warehouse to be watched. The insidious part of the disease of alcoholism was not aware that I had it. I knew that I drank too much, but I figured anyone would drink if he had the problems the bad luck that I had.
