Inner alarm system
It was early on a Saturday morning. The evening before, a daughter and her children had come in from Texas for a weekend visit. We had sat up late, and the family was sleeping over. I was the only one up. The morning coffee was brewing; I had breakfast started; my daily petition to my Higher Power had been made; and I was reading the morning newspaper.
