Once Over Lightly
Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery
THIS TALE from D. F. of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, is about a loser--a boozehead who was habitually unemployed. Each day, his wife chased him out job-hunting, but he always came home tipsy to endure hours of nagging. He tired of this, and arrived home one night the worse for drink but with a big smile on his face. "Did you find a job?" asked his spouse.
