Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

MOST OF US TEND to misinterpret reality while drinking. Another example is this story about a saloon owner who kept his pet monkey on a leash behind the bar but let it run loose at times. Regular customers were used to seeing it, but not so two strangers who wandered in one day and got thoroughly tanked. About then, the monkey was unchained, jumped up on their table, made faces at them, and scurried out of sight.
