Once Over Lightly

AT ANY SEASON, some of us (this writer included) are inclined to preach at AA meetings. H. C. of Virginia tells of a relatively new member of AA who had just listened to a long harangue by such a "preacher," laying down the law about how to work the program. A friend of the speaker was seated next to the newcomer and said, "There! You've received some wonderful advice, and it didn't cost you a cent!"
