The Friday-night opening ceremony at last year's International Convention in New Orleans brought tears and a moment of jubilation for my wife and me. We were remembering the opening night of the 1975 Convention in Denver, and its theme: "Let It Begin With Me." Representatives from thirty-nine countries said the theme in their native tongues; a beautiful lady sang it; and then she asked the audience to join in. What a moving experience! There wasn't a dry eye among the 19,500 people there.
