SPEAKING OF HELP: Help! The stock of jokes in our bin is running alarmingly low, and it's time for our periodic plea to all you loyal readers. Please, make an extra effort to send humorous material--jokes, anecdotes, funny asides heard at meetings. We can use them all. (And if you're hesitant because you've sent jokes that haven't been used, it's probably because they were too similar to items that had already appeared in this section sometime in the past few years. We try to wait as long as possible before repeating ourselves.)
