Santa Claus Is One of Us
About two years into sobriety, shopping for Christmas, I came upon Santa Claus trying to coax a little girl over to him. She was shy and excited, but not brave enough to go to him. After a time, I thought I would try to help. I asked whether she would mind if I talked to Santa before her. She nodded her head okay, and over I went to Santa.
