Powerless--but successful
As a member of the AA program, I am relieved that I have a Higher Power who can do those things for me that I am unable to do. On coming into this program, I thought that I was a failure in all areas of my life. I have a physical disability that limits what I can achieve. I felt that if a person could not achieve everything involved in the so-called good life, he was a failure.
