MANY WOODS WORKERS, when they hit town with their paychecks, end up in court. Regarding courts, the Silver Dollar came up with a story about a trial involving some highly improper remarks made by an amorous drunk to a respectable young lady. At one point, she was too shy to state publicly what he said to her, so the judge allowed her to write it, and the sheet of paper was given to the jury to read.
