Humility tells us "<emphasis type="underline">We</emphasis> can do what <emphasis type="underline">I</emphasis> can't
BECAUSE ALCOHOLICS are experts in "self-will run riot," we found the idea of humility hard to swallow when we were drinking. Even in our AA sobriety, it remains difficult to be humble--if we mistakenly consider humility as synonymous with humiliation.
