NEXT TIME you want to illustrate, with a story, the state of confusion that exists in a drunk's mind, you might tell about the little Saturday-night game that three lushes play in their neighborhood tavern. Once each week, these three meet, sit at a table, and order three fifths and three shot glasses. They drink quietly until the jugs are empty; then one of them gets up and goes out, and the remaining two try to guess who left.
