We are all drunks, and we are also all individuals. Some of us would be more comfortable with profanity than piety, and would be repelled by too much pious talk, and others of us feel just the opposite. Bill W. himself chased a lot of drunks away with his preaching. We all know many people who are foulmouthed and kindhearted, and others who are both kind-spoken and kindhearted. But profane or pious, an AA meeting is a good place to be.
