Revelations

I ENTERED Alcoholics Anonymous with a very large ego based on the zero I felt inside, unwilling at first to hear the word God. My spiritual recovery has been progressive, although slow, since the moment I defiantly, angrily decided to "Let go and let God, whatever that means and if, indeed, there is such a thing!" I knew at the innermost level that I was an alcoholic. I did not know God at any level. I believe that same innermost self had been searching for God for a long, long time--only in the wrong places.
