A Meeting in Paris

AFTER FOUR years' sobriety, my husband and I ventured across the Atlantic to fulfill a lifelong dream of seeing Europe. At home, with a meeting to go to every night and a group that understands and loves me, my journey into sobriety has been virtually painless. But 3,000 miles from home, in Paris--a city I had longed to visit in my drinking days--my situation rapidly deteriorated.
