SPEAKING OF ERRORS in judgment, the Dry Run relates a story about an alcoholic's wife who was complaining to a visiting friend about her spouse's absent-mindedness. "He forgets everything," she said. "A half hour ago, I sent him out to buy some lemons, and I'll bet he'll come home without them."
