I have been in AA since 1971, but on-again, off-again. I came to Duchesne early in 1981. In March, my buddy and I had some trouble, which brought about a talk with the sheriff. He told us there was an AA group in Roosevelt, about thirty miles away. I asked him if there was one here, and he said there used to be years ago, but not anymore. So I asked, "Why couldn't one be started?" He told me that his office was open to AA anytime, that there was a nice meeting room and kitchen.
