When our new hospital committee chairman made his report to our last mini-assembly, he explained he had been going around to all our hospitals, talking with administrators and staff, planning meeting schedules, seeing members are assigned to chair each meeting, etc. He asked for old Grapevines and said that if anyone had any, he would come and get them, as they are desperately needed. He told us that, as he was waiting in a hospital, he saw a patient with an old, dirty Grapevine. The cover was missing, it was very dog-eared and a couple of years old. He commented to the young man, "You 'bout got that Grapevine worn out, don't you?"
