Once Over Lightly

DEAR READERS: It's time to prod you again. After nine years of writing this joke column, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel. Unless you do your part and send in some jokes, you're likely to open your Grapevine to these pages some month and read about Mary and her little lamb, Jack and Jill, and the fox and the sour grapes. Either that or repeats of jokes from former columns, a thing I've tried to avoid. How about it, chums? What you get is what you give, and I mean you, not the other guy or gal.
