THAT WOODSY STORY reminds us of one about Boy Scouts that appeared in Now & Then. It involved two tipplers on adjoining barstools. One of the drinkers said sadly, "I would've been made an Eagle Scout, but I was working on the wine-making merit badge, and it's been downhill for me ever since."
