SPEAKING OF STUPES: Here are some quickies about them . . . the group of drunks pushing a house along the street to get the furnace started . . . the young woman, halted for erratic driving, who told the cop her alcoholic aroma came from shampooing her hair with beer . . . the lush who wanted to take a sobriety pledge, and when asked by the priest for how long, replied, "For life, same as I do every Sunday."
