Alcoholic? Addict?
One AA's suggestion: Let's keep our terms straight
A YOUNG WOMAN said at a recent meeting, "I am an alcoholic and an addict." She sounded almost proud of the fact. But listening to her story led me to ask her later just what she meant by her statement.
