Tradition 5 - Each group has but one primary purpose--to carry its message to the alcoholic who still suffers
SOMETHING I wanted above everything else when I first came to Alcoholics Anonymous was money. A small loan would have done, say a few thousand (a fair amount twenty years ago), acceptable in cash, check, or money order. I ran head-on into the Fifth Tradition.
