The 1,200-mile, 29-year Twelfth Step Call

Twenty-nine years ago, as a young Navy man, I attended AA for the first time, at the old Alano Club in Santa Ana, California. I have always had a love for poetry, and at that time I originated a little poem, which I had printed on a business card with my telephone number. I then handed the cards out locally.
