I Didn't Join AA
But 32 years ago, by the grace of God, he went to his first meeting
I WENT TO my first AA meeting May 6, 1950. The day before, I had called the AA intergroup office from a local saloon. Must have had a sudden, sodden feeling of remorse. When I got home, my wife told me I'd missed a man from AA by four hours. This was Friday night.
