THE DRUNK in an anecdote from J. K. of Illinois was equally deficient in good sense. One night, he got sozzled, hailed a cab, and stuck up the driver. "Look," protested the cabby, "I haven't got a dime. I just turned in my money to the dispatcher, and I'm heading home."
