How fortunate we are when people still care

I CAME HOME from a treatment center with some strange feelings and ideas. The friends I had picked up in those last few years of drinking were the first I had to deal with. By the time I realized I was serious about staying sober, I think they had already figured it out. But I had failed so many times, I was afraid to admit that I was ready to try again.
