Easing them into the program
In response to the letter "Through the Back Door" (January Grapevine), there was no violation of the Traditions. Tradition Three says (emphasis mine): "The only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking." The new man had that, for alcohol intensified his disease of epilepsy.
